Buttock Augmentation
Buttock Augmentation procedure is designed to enhance the size and the shape of the buttocks. Buttock augmentation can be done by using silicone implants or injecting fat from the patient's own body, known as fat transfer.
Each procedure carries pros and cons. Anyone who is interested in buttock augmentation must have thorough discussion with
Dr Kim.
Dr Kim usually recommend fat injection procedures to make buttock round and full, provided there is enough fat donor sites. Those patients who lack donor fat usually have an implant placement. While healing from surgery, patients must avoid sitting on the buttocks. Patients will not be able to lie on their back for about two weeks. Dr. Kim recommends wearing a compression garment to hold down the swelling. During recovery the patient may have bruising, pain and discomfort.
