Dr. Kim has a strong interests in facial and breast plastic surgery for both cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. Dr. Kim has performed more than 2000 breast augmentation procedures, and breast reconstructive procedures since opening his practice. Dr. Kim specializes in breast and facial plastic surgery.
Dr. Kim has travelled to many third world countries to provide free care for the unfortunate patients who could not receive any care otherwise. Dr. Kim has travelled many times to Africa to help children with cleft lip and palate, and congenital hand deformities. He also travelled to Vietnam several times to provide the care for cleft lip and palate.
Dr. Kim was invited to Lima, Peru, in September 2009, by the City of Lima and the Hospital de la Solidaridad to perform procedures and teach such reconstructive procedures to the local plastic surgeons. Dr. Kim received a Gold Medal of Recognition by the Mayor of Lima.
Dr. Kim has been honored by being listed in the Castle Connolly publication America's Top Doctors, an honor bestowed on less than 1% of the country's physicians.
